Full, Fun Memorial Day Weekend!

Saturday: We went to the Farmer's market, planted our strawberries, and then went to

Letchworth to watch Hot Air Balloons with friends

They call it the Grand Canyon of the East- it was pretty amazing.

Sunday: Jane's friend was baptized
Monday: We work up early to go place flags in the cemetery

Next we went and hiked Devil's Hole and the Whirlpools
It was so beautiful!
LOTS of rocks were thrown in the water (no pictures-ahh.)

We saw many Red-banded millipedes

We had a fun BBQ with lots of friends from the ward and all enjoyed these:

Sand inside, Zoo, and Good Corn...

What do you do when your 4 year old brings a FULL bucket of sand into the living room and then you tell him to take it outside, go say goodbye to a friend, and then come inside and and see your 1 year old THROWING SAND all over the room:

On Friday we went with Jane to Kindergarten day at the zoo and had a blast!

Last night we had a delicious dinner with salad- from our own garden, fresh corn on the cob, and homemade ice cream- loved it!

Fun Facts about me...

In case you didn't know:

It says, "My mom is beautiful. She has blue eyes and dark brown hair. She weighs 30 pounds, and is 6 feet tall. She is 30 years old. I really like it when she bakes vanilla cake, but I don;t like it when she cooks peppers. She is funny when she tells me jokes. I wish my mom would play Pet Show with me all day. Best of all, I love learning about science with my mom!"

Happy 2 years!

Today marks the day that we have been here for 2 years!

Time goes really fast when you're having fun.

School Announcements and Arts Fest!

Last Friday Jane was asked to give the morning announcements

(not many Kindergartners get to do it so she was EXCITED)

On Monday we went to the ice cream social and Arts Fest!
It was amazing- they had kids art displayed everywhere & lots of activities.
