Busy Break

Last week the kids had Mid-Winter Break and we kept busy

Monday - went to Botanical Gardens with B (see other post)
Tuesday- had some friends over to play(This is what James looks like to most of the world)
Wednesday- went to the "winter carnival" and painted snowThursday- went to the "beach" at the mall and got free ice cream
Friday- went to the Strong Museum of Play- crazy crowded but lots of funSaturday- went and saw Princess & the Frog and then out to dinner with friends
We hope this week will slow down a bit, but we can't wait for Uncle Jeff and Lexi to come on Friday!!!

Valentine Fun...

We've had a fun past few days...

On Wednesday we had a valentine party over here for our playgroup.
Kate loves her valentines:
Bruce had a party at schoolThe next day he had to bring snack for "Olympic Day" so we made this:
Jane had her party on Friday(thanks mom for the beautiful "Love")
She brought these:She made a list of many people she loves/misses:(Jeff- note the countdown until you come!)

We also want and saw a Wild Thing yesterday:
James is my sweetie for sure- love his laugh

*Today we also bought a Cold Stone cake since we can't go there (tradition for 9 years now) tomorrow.
