The Short Story & funny video

For anyone who may care to read this, I'll include a funny video at the end...
On Sunday night we got a call from the hospital letting us know to be there at 5:15 am
(THANK YOU AMY for coming so early.) We got a great night sleep, woke up early and went to the hospital. We checked in and did all the paper work. I went into the OR at 7:30 and at 7:58 I saw the most adorable purple face looking back at me. He was a lot bigger than everyone thought (we all predicted in the 7 lb range.) B took him to the nursery with the nurses while I recovered~so nice.
At 11:30 they took me to my room and I got into my bed- all by myself- B went to get the kids. I was up walking that afternoon and we had a great time being with our little guy.
Tuesday was more walking, playing with our sleepy little one, and visits- thanks!
Wednesay I was feeling great, James was perfect so they let us go home early- (thank you Chantel and David for taking the kids.) Thank you Karen for the delicious dinner!!
Today has been very relaxing. James ate a lot last night so we took many naps today. We are doing really well and it feels great to be home. I'm still very slow and have the best husband ever!
While taking our afternoon nap B got this ready with the kids:

Date with Jane at AK

Last night Jane and I went on a special date to the art museum. She is learning about Matisse in art right now and was so excited to find 3 works by him.

It's a such a wonderful museum (every Friday is free.) They had lots of "famous" artists as well as local, and a gallery of Fletcher Benton's "The Alphabet." They also had this big room that had a giant card table with 4 metal folding chairs- they were all about 15 feet tall. It was so cool!

Thanks Katie for coming with us and taking the pictures of Jane!

Pumpkins, Pregnancy Pedicure, & Pledge of Allegiance

Pumpkins,
We went to a fun pumpkin patch this morning and took a few picks.

Pregnancy Pedicure,

Kate and I went on a special date to have our toes done.
It felt so good! (they are a deep red, almost brown)
I think every pregnant woman should have a pedicure.
(I promise this is the only time I'll ever post a picture of my toes)

& Pledge of Allegiance

Bruce came home from school and started saying the pledge.
I didn't even know he knew it- I was very impressed!

They are my Sunshine!

Isn't she beautiful?
When Jane came home from school the other day the sun came out just as she was getting off the bus. I told her that she brought the sun with her. I love my Jane!
Kate is also super cute and brings the sunshine too!
Bruce didn't want to pose for a picture by himself, but I did get all three! I love my little buddy!
