Christmas 2011

Guess who we had join us this year...
Grandma and Grandpa Damstedt & Andy!!

We are so glad that we had family with us and we had a great time. On Christmas Eve Jane, B, his parents, and brother all went to the Bills v. Bronco's NFL game:

When they got home we had a yummy dinner:

B's dad made us this:* B also made our kids the game Pitch Car.

We went to church and it was wonderful.
Then we came home, played, and then went to a nursing home nearby to sing to the residents.
After that we celebrated Grandpa Damstedt's birthday!

After the delicious apple pie we all got our PJ's on and played "Things in a Box" :)

Quick Trip to DC...

On Wednesday we drove down to DC to watch this guy graduate with his Master's:Congrats Uncle Andy!
* IT WAS 60 degrees the whole time we were there- so warm :)
For dinner I was SUPER excited to go here:Cafe Rio!!!

On Thursday was the graduation and my beautiful friend Alexis let us come play at her house.

These two buddies got to be together again
and I got to be with my buddy too! (sorry Alexis this was the best of the set :)

The young kids and I drove back to DC and met up with everyone. Then we drove to see some monuments. We walked to the Jefferson Memorial:Merry Christmas!

Next we went to see the "Zoo Lights" at the National Zoo:

Andy took us to a great Mexican place for dinner and after that we walked around the DC Temple(it was raining) There were so many lights!Finally- before going back to the hotel we made one more stop:On Friday we drove back home and Grandma & Grandpa had the house warm for us and delicious soup on the stove.

Right now I'm baking things for dinner tonight and B, Jane, Andy, and Grandma & Grandpa Damstedt are at an NFL game Bronco's vs Bills!

You have to love Santa on a Firetruck

Every year Santa comes down our street with sirens blazing.
Our kids LOVE it!



Our ward did a service this Christmas and provided gifts for 8 families. It's awesome to see all the things so lovingly donated.

Last night we went to a beautiful Christmas party at the church.
The dinner was yummy and the program was great.

We have still been counting....

We're counting down to Christmas:
and we brought this cute snack for Kate's class

and B guessed the right number of candies in the jar- AGAIN!

and I went to a beautiful Relief Society Christmas dinner,
and counting,and searching for our elf "Douglas" every morning
and this little man can count from 1 -12!I have finished shopping, mailing things, and teacher gifts- yeah! Now I just need to finish scrapbooks, do my dishes, and celebrate a happy birthday with the man I love :)
