4 D ?

My sister was telling me about a friend of hers that was opening up a 4D ultrasound place and I wondered what 4D was( I know~ Brad already made fun of my ignorance.) So today at my appointment I was getting a little ultrasound and I asked the woman and she said "Oh, it's this"- and switched a little button. "The 4th dimension is time" so I got to watch our little man move. He is really squished, but healthy:
Here's a cute 3D picture- sorry if you can't see anything- he's squished.

My mom also sent him a beautiful new quilt. She said she "doesn't Love it," but I sure do. The trains are so cute! They have baby signs in the window.
We did tell the kids during Family Night that we are planning on naming our little man James Harold (my dad/Grandpa) Damstedt and so they have some time to adjust.

The kids and I also made these pumpkins on Saturday- thanks Jo!

Bruce came home from Pre-K today and said "Tomorrow is OCTOBER!- we need to decorate" so we'll be doing that soon.
I was hugging him today and said "what are we going to do when we have 2 boys?" and he said, "Get a van." Oh buddy...

Baby Chester says "THANKS!" & other random pics

* First off- we are not naming him Chester, just so we're clear...
THANK YOU AUNT GRETCHEN!
We love his new blanket- the design is really awesome! (I'm saving the crayons for when kids come to the hospital they'll have something to do, hope that's alright.)

THANK YOU LISSA!We got 3 HUGE boxes delivered today- full of baby boy clothes and 10 Eskimo Joe's cups- not sure what we'll do with so many.
Bruce loves his Spider man shirt.

For Grandma Damstedt-
Here's what the bookshelf looks like with books on it.

Bruce took this picture of me on Sunday so you can all check out my big belly...
Last night I found these cuties reading books in the "perfect place"
Kate is actually really into play dough and the kids love sidewalk chalk so we've still been spending a lot of time outside playing. I'm not sure who drew this tribute to Phineas and Ferb:Bruce told me that he is so excited for Monday because "that's when all the leaves will fall down- It's Fall!" We went to Jane's open house for school last night and there was a little sheet she filled out about her self. It said her favorite book was the Encyclopedia, favorite animal was the Komodo Dragon, favorite snack was dried mangos, and lots of other things we thought we're funny.
* B- took "best engineering" on his Popsicle bridge he made at a work picnic this week- we're so proud!

301= a lot of posts

Hi again!
I haven't had a computer for a week so here are things we've been up to:
I made 40 of these totally cute cards for my moms club social coming up.

Brad made this awesome book shelf for Bruce's room:
It's especially awesome because it can look like this:
or this:
or this:He thought his mom would think it was cool :)

School Started!
Jane started school (with a very heavy backpack)

Bruce started Pre-K (he tells me it's not "preschool")
He really does love it, just didn't want to smile or look at me...

Kate and I are so happy to go walking with friends and hang out!

*For Labor Day on Monday we went to Palmyra and had a wonderful time with just our family visiting the Hill Cumorah and the Sacred Grove. (Kate and I did great on climbing the hill-FYI)
I did forget my camera and was so sad because the flowers at the temple are BEAUTIFUL and the leaves are starting to turn colors-love this time of year!

*For dinner (9/9/09) we had crepes with 9 toppings to choose from- thanks Andy for the recipe!

Gone, Gone, our Camry's Gone...

So sad...Yesterday we said good bye to our sweet car(93 Camry) of 7 years

and said Hello to this:
(2008 Highlander)

It's very BLUE in case you didn't notice, but we love what it can do and that it can hold our growing family.

*Thanks again TARA a million times for watching the kids for so long!
