Ronald Run

Last night Jane got her first autograph:
while her slow mom ran another 5 K.
To of you that have kids and like to run this is one to do.
It was for the Ronald McDonald House.
They had this HUGE "Play Space" by Fischer Price for the kids to play in while the race was going on. The kids got to drive big cars, play lots of different games, and meet the big R man himself. It was fun!

*Bonus picture- this is what dinner looked like the other day. Bruce in a costume and Jane in her swimsuit- typical summer day.

Plus this one is for Joanna- my new cute shirt!

Blueberries, Bruises, Bubbles, and Blossoms

Last Wednesday we went blueberry picking with friends.
(Thanks Carolyn for the pics!)

They are soooo delicious!
-Just get the blue ones Baby Cakes-

On Thursday Kate fell and hit her cheek on a drawer. Bruce jumped and hit my cheek.
You can't really see it, but we had bruises.

On Saturday we went to Bubblefest at the science museum with some other families and had a great time!
Bruce LOVED the bubble window
B and Kate got into the action too!

My flowers have been loving all the rain we've been getting.
My Delphiniums are gorgeous!
This Black Eyed Susan is going to be the first of many. My friend Heather gave me some starts before she moved. It took me a while to get them in the ground so they were pretty dead looking when I planted them, but they look great now!

This one is so pretty and came from my friend Kristin with many other perennials.
I forgot the name, anyone?

She is just so cute! The other morning I came back from running and found B and Kate awake. B left for work so it was just Kate and I. For some reason she loves to sit on the bottom stair.
I filmed this little video for you to enjoy! She is so sweet!

Clifford, Butterflies, and the Hill Cumorah Pageant

On Saturday we had such a fun day (well not so much for for B)
We took B to the Hill Cumorah so he could volunteer in the afternoon
and then we went to the
Strong Museum (we missed you & the kids Katie.)
There weren't very many people at the museum so it was great.
We got lots of time with Clifford

We played in the sandbox with just us.

The Butterfly Garden is amazing and beautiful.
There are 1000 butterflies in there and they just land on you.
Jane REALLY loved figuring out what they were and was so excited to see a
Blue Morpho.

Bruce the dentist

Baby Cakes loves the dance room

We went back to the Hill Cumorah around 6:30 and met out dad, ate dinner, and waited for the pageant to start. We saw some friends from Provo and that was fun.

B actually has his eyes open in this picture!

Baby Cake
Jane loves Elder Pinegar (he gave her an AofFaith card)
This one's for you Stu!

I LOVED the pageant and so did Jane. Bruce and Kate fell asleep and B was also tired form seeing the 1:00 am showing of the Dark Knight this morning~crazy guy.

Bubble Bruce & WALL E

Once a month we attend a science class at our Science Museum Today's class was all about bubbles. Bruce had a great time!
They made these really fun bubbles from a tube that was connected to a jar that had dry ice and water in it. They were fun to pop.

On another note...
Some friends took us to see WALLE for family night on Monday. I liked it (and really LOVED the short before it.) Bruce got this T-shirt that "talks" when you push a button. He wears it everyday, and I wash it every night when I wash the swimsuits.
On Wednesday On Thursday

and back to the science museum:
2 months ago the class was on plants and we got to plant seeds. Today we saw the boxes where our seeds were growing and they had the kids names on them, so cool!
Hanging out with Buffalo

Jane in a bubble too
*The museum has a really cool dinosaur exhibit that starts tomorrow if anyone wants to come.

Camping over the 4th!

We had a wonderful Fourth of July!
A bunch of families from our ward went camping at Allegheny State Park. It was so green and beautiful. The kids LOVED it and did so well. We were going to stay one night, but ended up staying 2. Here are some pictures:
We love to camp!
Our Tent
Where we all cooked/ate
We went and watched fireworks at the lake.
(Before they started we saw and caught lots of fireflies)

Happy 4th of July (we wore our patriotic colors)

On Friday we went to a place that had these HUGE rocks and they were very fun to climb on.
Jane is so strong!
My buddy Bruce
Kate loved this rock

Friday afternoon Kate and I took a nap while B took the kids on a 3mile hike. When they got back we went to the "beach" and cooled off a bit, then got some ice cream.
Want some dirt?
Jane, her friend, a big leaf, and a caterpillar.

GREAT FOOD, GREAT FRIENDS, GREAT FUN!!!
*On Saturday we got back and cleaned up, then went to a BBQ with some friends and watched more fireworks- Baby Cakes loved the fireworks!
