We had a wonderful Fourth of July!
A bunch of families from our ward went camping at Allegheny State Park. It was so green and beautiful. The kids LOVED it and did so well. We were going to stay one night, but ended up staying 2. Here are some pictures:

On Friday we went to a place that had these HUGE rocks and they were very fun to climb on.

Friday afternoon Kate and I took a nap while B took the kids on a 3mile hike. When they got back we went to the "beach" and cooled off a bit, then got some ice cream.

GREAT FOOD, GREAT FRIENDS, GREAT FUN!!!
*On Saturday we got back and cleaned up, then went to a BBQ with some friends and watched more fireworks- Baby Cakes loved the fireworks!

Fun Camping!! What great pictures too. You look so fabulous! Kate is such a damstedt. She looks like a mini Bruce/Jane/you/B. So cute. Glad she liked the fireworks. And buddy Bruce- adorable. Way to survive 2 days. Brandon's family wants to go camping and I am dreading it already. I'm afraid that we won't get any sleep. But I think Jake will like the outdoors- I know Josh will.
This was tons of fun! The breakfast burritos were fantastic and I am so happy you decided to stay the 2 days!

How fun! I love that Jane still wears that skirt. You seriously are looking super skinny! It's making me jealous! Looks like you had fun and made me excited to go camping.
That looks like such a fun camping trip! Your kids of course are just as smiling and beautiful as ever!

We love Allegheny! We have a funny story about Matt getting our van stuck! Just about EVERY person came to help us get out! After MUCH trying we discovered the parking break was on!!!! Oh man! I took the fall, although I did NOT put it on! Everyone was so kind and we are still laughing about it!
You'll have to tell me how to make falafal! I'm so not adventerous with food and am quite proud that I tried something new! I guess the advice I give my kids about taking just one bite should be my own!
