Let the Halloween Parties Begin!!

We are busy having fun with lots of Halloween parties!
Kate had a party at preschool yesterday
She is a blond Snow White
Yesterday we had a party at storytime Kate was Thumbelina
and then after school the kids and I headed to the mall for their Halloween party:
Jane is Cleopatra, Kate is a fairy, and Bruce is a Ninja.

Then today we went to Bruce's class party at 9:00
a MOMS Club party 10-12
Jane's party at 2:00 parade in the hallway.

By the time school got out we all felt like this:
James is a vampire- so cute!

Tomorrow we have the Town party, a pumpkin party at one of B's friends, and then our ward Trunk or Treat= lots more pictures!

Halloween Packages! (and more)

We really love Halloween in our house and it gets even better when we get packages!!!
Thank you Grandma Damstedt Thank you Grandma Miller(this was my "trick or treat" bag.)
Kate got caught in the web you made.

James loves his cape:
The weather has been so warm and we have been on many walks these past few days. A lot of homes in our neighborhood like to decorate outside and Jane and Bruce like taking pictures. Here's Bruce being scared:

Other things we've been doing:
On Friday we went with friends to the opening exhibit in the science museum. Here's Bruce and the NOCO frog:

On Saturday we drove to Rochester to drop off our kids and our friends- thanks again Eric and Katie and then we were so fortunate to go to the temple with special friends and watch their baby be sealed to them.
After that we went and got our kids, ate delicious "hot soup" and bread, drove home and had a party for James. Lots of people came and we REALLY had a fun time!
*Bonus- Lissa are these the PJ's Jake is looking for?

Our Sweet James is 1!

It really does feel like just last week this sweet guy was born
James had a very HAPPY 1st Birthday today!
Here it is in lots of pictures:
This morning around 7:00 Bruce came in and told me that James was awake. All the kids ran into him room and started singing "Happy Birthday." We all went downstairs and James got to open some presents.
Thanks for the outfit and awesome ball Grandma Damstedt!
Thanks for the monkey's, tree, and book Grandma Miller!
Everyone loved helping him open his presents.
For breakfast he had cheerios, bananas, and a cinnamon roll.
Jane helped me put up the sign and pictures.
So CUTE!
For lunch he ate steamed carrots, broccoli, and applesauce.
We went on a walk with Kate
We had a fun time swinging- it wasn't that cold..

We picked the kids up from school and went to the Great Pumpkin Farm
Cute little pumpkin man..
We went out for dinner.
Clapping while we're singing
So- it's a pumpkin cake doughnut with whipped cream. We're going to have a party later with B and he'll make a real cake :)
Love it!
The only thing that would have made it better was if our daddy was here- but he did call!
We love you James!!
