Palmyra, Parents, Falls, and Strong

We are having such a wonderful time with all

of our family that's visiting!!!

On Sunday after church we went to Palmyra
Temple

The Smith Farm
and climbed the Hill CumorahWhen we came home my brother, sister in law,
and their 2 girls were there:

On Monday we played with my parents, had lunch at Panera, walked around the waterfall park, made one more trip to Wegmans, and then said our "see you laters.."
On Tuesday we spent the day at Niagara Falls
That night we made Japanese Gyoza

On Wednesday I took my sister & her girls and my sister in law and her girls to the National Museum of PlayWe made princess crowns
and climbed buildings..

and played outside

Thursday we went to East Aurora
* We said "see you later" to my brother and his family
We've had a fun- full home this week: (5 adults, 9 kids)

Jane's Baptism

Last Saturday was such a special day for us.

Jane was baptized. Jane with Grandma and Grandpa Damstedt
We had her program start at 3:00 at our church. My mom spoke on baptism, B's mom spoke on the Holy Ghost. The spirit was strong. We also had 2 special musical numbers by my sister Joanna on the flute and my friend Alison on the violin. They were both really beautiful!

Jane had lots of lots of ward family there to support her.
She also had 2 of our neighbor families and 4 other friends from school who all aren't members of the church so it was special for them too.

Afterwards we all came home and let Jane open gifts her friends had given her:She was "beaming!"(Jane after church on Sunday)

Fun with Grandma & Granpa Damstedt

Jane is going to be baptized tomorrow (April 9th) so this week we have had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa Damstedt who came to visit.

They arrived Tuesday night
on Wednesday we went to a Frank Lloyd Wright home hereThe Gardener's Cottage

and then to the zoo:silly kate

On Thursday we went to Chipotle for lunch- yum and then to the Amherst Museum to look at crazy quilts from the 1880's and walk outside.

Today B took off work and the kids are out of school. Bruce is playing Mario with Grandma, Kate and James are helping dad and Grandpa build their bunk-bed, and James is napping. Fun times!
