Counting down to Christmas!!

This morning we went to Breakfast with Santa
(James was VERY afraid of Santa, but did talk to Mrs. Claus, Jane was at a birthday party.)
Santa arrived on a fire truck just as we were coming.
The kids had a fun time getting their faces painted,throwing presents,and eating.Last night some wonderful, kind, amazing, beautiful, great friends offered to take our kids while B and I went on a date AND they made gingerbread cookies with them- 7 kids in the kitchen- whew!

On Wednesday night we set up Christmas in our home. We really needed to due to all of the Advent things we have going on in December.

We did "Somthing BIG"

Our science museum is celebrating 150 years and we went to the unveiling of "Something BIG" today. It was pretty fun.

We waited outside for about 15 minutes because the first 200 got a special gift.
The gift was a t shirt and they got to color it.
We also got cupcakes

So Thankful!

I am so thankful for my sweet family and that "Uncle Andy" is here with us,

~and family all over the country-
I'm thankful for wonderful friends who we shared delicious Thanksgiving dinner with.

I'm thankful for dancing :)

I'm thankful that Jane and I had some fun times shopping today.

I'm thankful that we are all healthy, happy, and it's only Friday!!

This guy is really cute(School picture 2011)

I love him a lot and here are some things that he's been doing lately:

He just finished a little karate class with some friends and LOVED it!On Veteran's Day we made cards and took them to a nursing home to thank the veteran's for their service.

He stared taking piano lessons yesterday.
He loves it!

Last night he earned his Bobcat at the pack meeting with his tiger cubs.
He looks really proud and excited right?

Tonight we have his parent teacher conference....looking forward to that :)

Likes and Dislikes

I LIKE when we take our kids to the Lowe's Saturday workshop

and especially when it's Science related.
I DISLIKE when they come home and turn the bathroom into a science lab...
