She's Ten and she's Teriffic!!

Our beautiful Jane turned 10 yesterday and we had a really fun day.
 In the morning she opened presents from family.

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Damstedt for the fishing things!! 

Thank you Grandma Miller for the books & other fun girl things!! (I forgot to take pictures so I'll add them later.)

We ate breakfast, played outside (it was so warm,) went shopping, and set up for the party.  Jane invited lots of girls from school and church.  She wanted to invite even more, but we capped it at 20.  When the girls came we had them decorate an apron, then we make little pizza's, played games, and decorated cupcakes.  It was loud, exciting, and we completely forgot to sing to Jane- oops.

Botanical Gardens 2013

During the Winter we love to go to the Botaical Gardens here and get warm & see LOTs of green!

 They put this this awesome little garden area and James had some much fun with the watering can.

 * Sad Saturday- some really good friends of ours moved away rather quickly to Arizona.  We miss them!

Bruce's Baptism

On Saturday our handsome Bruce was baptized.

We are SO proud of him!!

 For refreshments Bruce wanted doughnuts- LOTS of them so we brought a bunch from Paula's and Tim Hortons.  We also had hot chocolate and milk.

LOTS and LOTS of ward friends came and we are so thankful for them.

Valentine's Day 2013

We feel loved!! 

On Wednesday we hosted our 5th annual Cafe Rio Valentine Party- it was a lot of fun! 

                              James was excited to get so many valentines.

 On Valentine's Day we ate breakfast and the kids all got Valentine bags from Grandma Miller:

 At school Bruce had a ice cream party.                                            Kate got lots of Valentine's too

 I did Jane's hair in a heart:

 After school we picked up Grandma and Grandpa Damstedt from the airport!! We ate dinner and then went to Cold Stone (12 year tradition)

Jane's 1st Concert & 2013 Pine Wood Derby

Last week Jane played the violin in her first concert:

She did great! 

(She was also in the choir)

On Saturday night the cub scouts had their Pine Wood Derby.
