Clothes For Bruce!

THANK YOU JILL!

We got 4 boxes in the mail today from B's sister in Washington. Bruce is set for the winter and next summer I'm sure. We love getting clothes in the mail. It's really fun that they are from cousins and so great that Bruce and Henry have such similar interests (Spiderman, Bob the Builder, tools. airplanes.)

I am also very grateful that I have been able to pass clothes around with Lissa, Tonya, Jo, and soon Baby Popo. Jane and Kate are well dressed too, and it doesn't cost me anything. :)

* * Plus, JC Penney is having their end of sumer clearance (at least they are here) and I got 2 really cute skirts for me and some cheap clothes for kids. Check it out.

Silly Baby Tricks!

On a few of my friends have "memories" on their blogs so today I'll join them and share pictures from the past.
B has loved trying to see if babies are able to stand on his hand and so far we're 3/3. (All around 2 months)

Talking Baby Kate!

Our little one LOVES to hear her voice!

She started to say things when G&G Damstedt were here at the beginning of the month, but now she is talking all the time (and smiling.)
She also has liked sucking on her fists lately-Jane thinks it's so funny.
I guess B now has 3 girls who like to talk in his family. Sorry love.

Scottish Day!

On Saturday we attended the Scottish festival held at the Amherst museum. It was a beautiful day, the kids were happy, and it was a lot of fun. We arrived just as the "Grand Opening" was starting so we watched about 10 different bagpipe groups walk in. It sounded awesome. Then we played some kids games and finally before we were about to leave they started Caber tossing. If you don't know what that is, here's a fun link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caber_toss.

Caber Tossing- Jane looked at these men and quickly commented "Those boys are wearing skirts-heehee." I should have worn my old uniform.

Bruce didn't want to take a nap one afternoon so I told him he could take a rest and watch a movie with Jane, this is how I found him 5 minutes later.

Baby Kate spit up and Jane pointed out that it looked like an "8." (Look closely above her arm)
She's our smart little girl.

Erie County Fair!

America's Fair!
Last Saturday we spent the day at the fair.

It was huge, lots of things to see, do, and eat:

Jane and Bruce's favorite thing was the "Footsie Wootsie"'s they had all over the fair.
For 25 cents you get a little foot massage.

Tractors and more tractors greeted us as we entered.

We saw a Log Show. It was pretty cool.

Kate pretty much slept the entire day in the Bjorn. yea!

We saw the "Bills Buffalo" and gave him a High-Five.

Do

Jane went on this Kangaroo bouncy ride and had lots of fun going up, but going down scared her so she cried the whole rest of the ride.

We got to feed animals at the petting zoo.
*They had lots of 4H competitions going on so we saw lots of horses, cows, pigs, and chickens.*

(Plus there was a sting-ray exhibit, birds of prey exhibit, and rare white camels exhibit.)

The kids "mined for gold," those carnies!

Eat

We saw, but unfortunately forgot to try the deep fried Twinkies.

Jane really wanted cotton candy, ate a bit and said she didn't like it "because it has some sugar."
