So Thankful!

This month we are all taking turns writing in our gratitude journal.  

Here are the last 5 days:

November 1st~ (Eliza) I am thankful for my Faith.

              2nd ~ (Kate) I am thankful we got to have a "girls night" and see The Little Mermaid.

              3rd ~ (James) I am thankful for the library and that we go to story time.

              4th ~ (Bruce) I am thankful for wood because you can make stuff. 

              5th ~ (Jane) I am thankful for music and that I can play the violin.

Halloween 2012

We have been excited for Halloween all month long thanks to this cute countdown my mom made us:

This year we had a vampiress:

a Monster:

a Cheerleader/Witch:

and a Dragon:

We had our ward Trunk or Treat on Saturday.  Here are some of the cute costumes:

On Monday we all got cleanings at the dentist and no one had cavities :) 

    For FHE we strung spider webs over every picture in our home-  

B's mom sent us a big package with a "real" spider story to go along with it. 

(We also checked all of our 72 hour kits to prepare for the "Sandy" storm.)

Tuesday was "Mall-O-Ween" and it was CRAZY- we didn't last long

Today the kids had class parties:

James and I also went to a really fun Halloween playgroup- Thanks Megan!

For dinner we are "spider" rolls and soup, rat eyes (pomegranates) and Poison drink

  

Thank you Grandma Miller for the super package and fun treat bags!

After that was Trick or Treating!

We went trick or treating with our neighbors for about 1 1/2 hours.  It was fun to go with them.

 

They each got SOOOO much:

We love HALLOWEEN!!! 

He's 3 !!!

Our baby James turned 3 on Friday!!! 

It was a very Fun Filled Friday:

7:00 am- everyone is awake (B went in early to work so we postponed presents.) 

       ~ Jane made 'gluten free' cupcakes:

8:00 am- pancakes, oranges, and sausage for breakfast

9:00 am- exercise at gym- the child care there sang happy birthday to him and he got a present from his little friend Megan.

10:00 am- Party with friends at Chuck E Cheese.  James has actually never been there, but everytime we drive by he tells me that he wants to go there with his friends.

(Here are cute friends who came- I'm missing one of Henry) 

 11:30 am- SUPER fun party with friends is over and he throws a major fit about leaving (he was just going the whole time and didn't stop to even open presents- thanks Jamie for carrying them to the car :) 

12:00 - Lunch

1:00 pm- Play with his favorite dog- "Friday" 

and Marina & Natalie too

2:30 pm- Pick up kids at school, play on the playground (the weather was beautiful.)

4:00 pm- Great Pumpkin Farm

5:30 pm - Dinner (enchiladas, corn, & chips.) 

6:30 pm- Bed- he was SOOOOOOO very tired, the most I have ever seen him

B took the other kids to the ice cream social at school .

We opened presents the next morning.  This guy is feeling the present love!

                      HE LOVES to build this one.

 We also had "Cake" doughnuts:

 

        (my mom sent me the totally cute airplane candles)

And he spent the rest of the day playing with all his new toys and his cars:
