1st Day of School 2014..

The day has now come when all the kids are going to school- all day......

Everyone was very excited for their first day back.

Except me :(  I spent my morning with friends at a "Boo Hoo" Breakfast for Kindergarten parents, and then the rest of the day I just didn't know what to do with myself.  

Luckily it got better as the week went by~ especially when my friend Amy called asked me to meet her for lunch :) 

The happy thing is that by 3:30 everyone is home and the house is noisy again!

Arches 2014

On July 29th B, James, and I went to Arches National Park.  

It was amazing!!! 

 Double Arch was my favorite:

 Corona Arch- so huge!!

 We stayed the night in Moab and ate Mexican Food :) yum!

Peach Picking and Fun Run 2014

I promise that I will write and post pictures about our AMAZING and super fun trip to Utah this Summer, but I thought I'd start with what we did yesterday.... 

We picked peaches:

We also picked plums:

Last night we went to a ward party that started out with a Fun Run.  

It was perfect weather and everyone was happy. 

This little man took 1st place- so proud!

Rope Swing Family Night...

For Family Night we went on an adventure.  We went to a park that we often go to, but this time we went off on a different trail.... and found a rope swing....

 

 

Lovin This Summer!

We have been doing lots of fun things so far this summer including:

Getting our kid's picture's taken-

 

Going to Erie to visit friends-

Watching fireworks after a fun 4th of July BBQ:

Building Bug Boxes-

Giving LOTS and LOTS of hugs to friends who are moving away..

Marching in parades-

Going to the Science Museum (and the zoo yesterday)

AND- building the boys a new closet!

Plus- we had swimming lessons  & tennis lessons:

and we went with friends to "Build A Bear."

The fun keeping coming...

Cincinnati!

On June 29th we drove to see our friends in Cincinnati.   We had so much fun with them!!!

On Monday we went to the zoo.

 

Later that night we had a mini reunion with friends and swam.  We also celebrated Kate's early birthday:

On Tuesday we went on a little hike, enjoyed shaved ice, and then swam some more:

Wednesday morning was Kate' birthday.  She opened presents, ate breakfast, 

and then we gave our friends hugs:

Then we drove back home.
