Field Trip

I just have to post what Jane told Brad this morning at breakfast- so funny!

Jane: Dad I have been on two field trips so far in Kindergarten and they have both been to the Planetarium.
When do you think I can go on a field trip to a real FIELD?

Brad: (laughing quietly)

Jane: I'm just excited to go to a field and see what is in it.

* * Happy recovery wishes to my strong sister Joanna who went to a doctor's appointment yesterday and ended up getting her appendix out last night- Love you! * *

That is awesome. Ironically enough, my first field trip as a teacher was to a corn field. For the corn maze. Yeah- I lost all the kids that day. Well, I guess they lost themselves in the maze. Jane- you are cute.

And I don't think I have you on my blog list- we went private awhile ago and I don't have your contact info. If you want in, let me know: ashleyguymon(at)gmail(dot)com

I could see why going to a planetarium when they keep telling you you're going to see a real live field would be disappointing!

VERY FUNNY! Who knew that kids really just wanted to go see a field?? That should save schools millions of dollars! Great idea Jane!

Janey dear, you can come to Grandma's and go to a field. There's one right by our house. Love you, Grandma

That is a HILARIOUS story! Reminds me of the time awhile back that Hannah was asking if she could wear a dress. Heather told her she could wear the dress on SUNday. So she immediately looked out the window and saw the SUN shining bright as can be, and said, "Look I see the sun right there!"

So how can you say, "NO!" to that kind of logic. So we let her wear the dress, and got a good laugh out of it all.

Hey by the way I have always meant to tell you something.

I really enjoyed writing to you at the end of your mission and beginning of mine. I also have to apologize to you, because I was the one who broke the chain of conversation we had going. You sent me a letter right before my first transfer, which was a really wierd one, being that my companion was having to go home for health reasons, and my area was being closed, and it was actually earlier than the ACTUAL mission transfer...

Anyways in the madness I lost all of the envelopes to your letters which also resulted in my losing your address. I tried asking my mom for it, but the amount of time it took for my mom to actually remember to get the address and write me back you were already home.

So I apologize.
