Thanksgiving 2010 and Washington DC...

We are THANKFUL!!!
Here's a recap in pictures of our wonderful week:
On Tuesday we left when Brad got home from work to drive to Williamsport PA (home of the Little League.) We slept there, swam in the morning and then drove to Annapolis MD. Along the way we drove through Harrisburg PA
(my Grandma and Grandpa Nicholl served a mission here)
and also through Baltimore which brought back of when my dad and I were there.
We arrived and gave lots of hugs to our friends the Davies. (THANK YOU!)
That night we walked around the harbor and the main part of town.
Andrew came too and we got ice cream.
Thursday was Thanksgiving- a day of

and Food:Delicious!
On Friday we went into DC ,but made a quick stop here first:
We went to the museum of Natural History and saw:
the Hope Diamond~
Lots of animals & dinosaurs too!
At the Archives we saw the Declaration of Independence, the Consitution, and the Bill of Rights.
Some of us went to the art museums while others went to Air and Space.

We gave our friends more hugs and "see you soons" then our family and Andy walked to the monuments and memorials.Capitol behind us

Then we walked back to the car and drove to where Andy lives and stayed in a hotel there.
On Saturday we went to the Washington DC Temple:

we saw pandas!
Bruce wanted to take this one for Grandpa Miller:

We ate at 5 Guys and then said "see you later" to AndrewWe drove back to our home and everyone slept well!

I can't believe how much James looks like Bruce! Doug can't believe how big Andy has gotten. JK. Looks like you had a way fun time! I think the Korean memorial was my favorite. Good luck recovering from vacation!

What a fun trip. We got to do Washington, DC in March. We definitely could have used more time. There is so much to see and do there. I'm glad you had a fun trip.

I love all your pictures- Can you please tell James to stop growing up! I love the graceful dancer- too cute. I'm glad you guys had fun! Jealous about DC, the temple, and trader Joes- ok and about everything else. Love you!

What a great trip! We had Kilwin's ice cream in J'Ville. Very good. And we have Trader Joes and Five Guys here. Glad you got to see so much of DC. Love it!

i CANT believe that you were less than 25 minutes from my house and didn't stop to say hello. and then, you passed by our house.... and still no hello..... are we still friends....??? I must say, I do love trader joe's

I think my favorite is the picture of the kids at the Lincoln Memorial. Such great buds! Looks like you had a BLAST!
