We had such a beautiful day!
The weather was perfect, the friends were fabulous, and we got to be together as a family.
In the morning we went to place flags at a cemetery we go to every year.
It's such a special time to think about the men and women who gave their lives.

After that we drove to PA to go to a great beach (Presque Isle) and feel sand between our toes... and rocks in between our baby fingers:

Kate had lots of fun in the water

We went back to our friend's home for some trampoline time,
a delicious BBQ,
followed by amazing -fun dessert:
My super talented friend Stacie brought buckets to the beach to fill with sand then then used them as cute table decorations- wow!Further proof of how fun it was: the ride home, Bruce is super happy, Jane's eating a pear, Kate and James are sleeping.

It was fun seeing you in the morning!!! DO NOT PUT THE FLAGS IN THE GROUND, WE DON'T START UNTIL 8:20!!! Sheesh what were we thinking putting the flags in at 8:16? :)

Now that is a fun memorial day!! I love it!! We went to a lake- but the beach wasn't as nice.
We loved every minute of it!!! I hadn't heard about the flag episode...you and Rachel are always the rebellious ones! :)
