Baby Quilt & 2 pics

A few weeks ago we have a baby shower for Jane's teacher and at the shower we decorated squares for a quilt. I then mailed those to my extremely talented mom and within a few days she had it all put together, quilted, and mailed back to me.

On Monday we saw Clifford at the library to kick off Summer reading.
Baby Cakes wasn't so sure, but she sure has a cute bellyB.

Strawberry Picking & Jumping!

The rest of this week has been really fun- even with all the rain we've been getting.

We went and picked STRAWBERRIES with some other amazing moms on Wednesday
Our shoes got really muddy

Kate got soooo red and sticky from squeezing all the big, ripe berries I just picked.

It's funny because with our little co-op fruit share we got strawberries this week too so we've been eating lots of strawberries, but they're really good.

Today we took a little trip to a fun places called Leaps and Bounce to get some energy out.

Jane on a slide - she LOVED thinking of new ways to come down including:
"shooting star, slug, and the log that wouldn't roll."

Father's Day and Erie Canal

We LOVE these DADS!

We had a wonderful Father's Day this year and it was EVEN BETTER with B having his dad here! We made yummy food for the dads and B got some pretty great presents. Kate gave him some Snickers, Bruce gave him Transformers movie, Jane gave him a tent (so we can get some family camping in this summer,) and I framed his PhD diploma because it was still tucked away in the filing cabinet. B also went with his dad to Rockler on Saturday and found some fun tools and books.
I Love Father's Day too because I got a new dress.
This one is for Lissa to show her how cute it is.

On Monday we went to Lockport to see the Erie Canal and take a tour of the Lockport Caves.

They were really awesome and it's amazing to see how the locks work and how water fills up/ drains out so quick.

Fun with Grandma and Grandpa!

We have been having SOOO much fun with our Grandma and Grandpa this week!

They arrived Tuesday night,

In other news:

On Thursday night I ran with my amazing, famous friend Amy, her husband, and 12, 400 other runners in the 3.5 mile Corporate Challenge. It was so hot and humid and there were SOO many people, but it was really FUN!!!
AND...
This morning Jane went to a wonderful primary activity where she got to serve a mission in Thailand, Russia, Spain, Argentina, and South Africa. Great job Jane!

My Birthdays Just Keep Getting Better!

Yesterday was one of the greatest days!

I really do love my birthday every year, but it was extra special this year.

Things that made it special:
1. My wonderful husband made me Blueberry Buckle for breakfast with fresh berries.

(Sorry about the just out of the shower hair)

* He gave me some cool little ice cream bowls.
* Jane made me a journal, Bruce gave me Lawn Bowling, and KATE WALKED 3 steps!!
2. My brother was in town so we went to the zoo and to the Anchor Bar for lunch
