Here she is: Our Newest Beautiful Girl

Happy Are We!!!!

Kate Damstedt was born on July 2nd at 9:59 am.
She weighed 6 lbs and 12 oz. and was 19 inches long.

Everything went extremely well. It was all very peaceful and calm. We were all so surprised that she is "so little" compared to how big everyone thought she would be (and a lot smaller compared to Bruce.)

Bruce loves to "have her- I hold BabyKate," and we are happy to say that Jane is paying more attention to her too (the first day she only played with the toy Kate gave her, but now she likes to give her blankets and sing her songs.)

It's amazing the power these Grandma's have to hold a new cute baby and they become so calm and Kate just looks at her for a long time. It's very sweet and we are very happy she's here.

Jane and Bruce loved to visit me in the hospital, but mostly because of my bed- up...down...up

We came home yesterday afternoon and are feeling great.
(Just in time for the fireworks- hee hee)
I sure love having B and my mom here to help out so all I have to do is sit around. Jane and Bruce are big helpers too! (Jane brings the clean diapers and picks out her clothes and Bruce throws the diapers away.)

Thank you everyone who sent flowers and gifts. These one's were beautiful from B's parents.
