Jane Brag Blog...

Forgive me, but I just have to tell you all once again how much we love our Jane and are so proud of her.
Jane is a very smart, fun, and kind little girl. She came that way and we are so blessed to have her in our family.
Last night B and I went to our first Parent Teacher Conference. (It was especially fun for me having been on the teacher side so many times to be on the Parent side now.)
Her teacher is a wonderful woman who told us that Jane is at the top of her class. She wrote: "Jane is a friendly, outgoing and enthusiastic Kindergarten student. She has adjusted nicely to all of our classroom routines and activities. Jane has great work habits and is always willing to help. Jane enjoys our reading activities and we ill continue to encourage and develop her reading and writing skills. She has made new friends and gets along well with all her classmates. I look forward to watching Jane grow and learn throughout the year.

(Sorry more bragging) She told us that she tested Jane on reading last week and Jane passed level 6, Kindergartners are expected to be on level 3 by the end of the year. She also mentioned that when she's explaining something and when Jane doesn't get it she stops and is like "really?" and she knows then that no one is getting it so she explains it another way.
Jane writes full sentence stories and spells words correctly- wow!
She was also amazed at Jane's background knowledge of things in Math and Science. (dad)
We are proud of you Jane- keep up the great things you do!

**B and I are going on a date tonight to the newest art museum in Buffalo. It's the first one built here in the last century and we're excited! Tomorrow night is Twilight**

Wow. Think of what Bruce and Kate have to live up to now. Jane has set the bar pretty high.

Way to go Jane! You're so smart! Now all you have to do is convince your parents to come to Alaska next summer! After that, you could rule the world.
