As I said before we did a homemade Christmas this year and this is what we made:I got this beautiful mirror
Jane got a big white board/bulletin board for her room
Bruce got a checker board
Kate got a cow to ride on
James got a scrapbook
(It matches his jungle quilt)
Brad got delicious homemade food all season long + I got him a nice set of clamps.
(seen using the clamps on Dominion)
Plus- he made these clocks for 2 lucky siblings:Joanna & Andy
Brad also surprised me with some beautiful pottery - click here
We set up a tent in the girls room to sleep in on Christmas Eve
James took lots of naps
This week we're so happy we get our dad- ALL WEEK!
We're off to shovel snow...

Very cool presents. I am very impressed at all the fun gifts you guys made.
wow - pretty amazing!
very fun christmas it looks like. I love the scrapbook, it does look like the jungle quilt. What kind of things did the kids make?
Eliza, it's so fun to catch up on your family with all your fun blog pictures and commentary. Your kids are as cute as ever! We miss you guys! We also miss Brad as our home teacher, and not just 'cuz he's good at fixing piano benches. Very impressive handmade gifts, I must say! Merry late Christmas to you all and a very Happy New Year!
I am loving that mirror! And the clocks...how awesome!
I KNEW when I saw the pottery it was Ed Ham's work! We are fan's of his, and his has become a dear friend of our family. We enjoy homemade Christmas too. It's so fun to do. As our children have gotten older they have made some really fabulous gifts for each other. There is a new couple in the ward and the wife reminds me of you. She's really nice and has her act together, but I still miss you!!!!!
