We had a great day being together as a family and having fun with friends. In the morning we went to put flags on the veterans tombstones in the cemetery. We stayed for a little program too.
After that we drove to an amusement park because Kate was going to be dancing there with her little class. They were SO cute!
When she was done we got to stay and ride all of the fun rides. They had one section of the park for older children and James kept looking at those rides and saying "Too high.." "Too fast." "Too Wet."

There was a Ferris wheel, carousel, and lots of these little puppet houses that Jane loved to peek into:
We came home around 3:30 with plenty of sun on our faces and arms. For dinner some friends came over and we BBQ'd some deliciousness. It was fun to be with them and the kids had a blast playing. It was a great day!

I love how you celebrate Memorial Day by placing flags--someday I hope to copy your tradition. And Kate looks SO cute in her costume. :)
