On Tuesday - We went to the ZOO!
James loved the sea lion show:
He also still loved the tigers:
Look at the silly gorillas:
(Brad this is not an evolution comment)
When we got home Jane and Bruce ran to the mailbox to see if their teacher letters had come- they did!
Bruce has the same teacher that Jane did and Jane has a really nice teacher- but even better is she already know of 6 friends who will be in her class.
Wednesday- In the morning we hosted playgroup at our home and washed cars. Kate took of picture of these delicious treats :)
Then we played with some friends and after they left we went to the library to turn in our summer reading sheets. We took the Elders out to dinner at a yummy pizza place (Jane brought KABAM.) Then rushed Jane to a party and the kids and I went to the church for a sensational salsa recipe demonstration.
Thursday- Today we went to the Strong Museum of Play. We LOVE this place and always have a fun time. James especially had a great time because he would walk around everywhere and touch everything. Unfortunately I FORGOT MY CAMERA!!! We did go to the new exhibit on Japan and that was really cool (we thought of you Hiromi.)

The recent disasters in Japan have severely affected the lives of all Japanese, old and young. The Strong invites visitors to the Five Friends from Japan exhibit to compose messages of support and sympathy that The Strong will send to the City of Rochester’s sister city of Hamamatsu, Japan. Those interested in supporting the relief effort financially can contribute at http://american.redcross.org.
After the museum we went to my friend Katie's home and got to see and hold her new (4 days old) baby girl. She is beautiful! Our kids are just the same ages and so everyone had a buddy to play with today. Now for #5... (this isn't an announcement)
Tomorrow the long weekend starts and lots of more fun times ahead!
