Smiles & Snowman

We have such a happy baby!

He has been smiling a lot this week and we LOVE it!

Blessing, tree, & snow

Last Sunday Brad blessed James and it was a very special time.

Blessed Boy

For family night we went and got our tree.

We have only had 1 other real tree during our marriage, but Brad reminded me that this year we wouldn't have any kids that would eat pine needles or tip the tree over, so went to and got a fresh one- and it smells wonderful (we also had them drill it and got a cool stand so set up was easy.)
We all had a great time decorating- "lights, then beads, then ornaments Kate"

Ta, Da!

It also snowed for the first time last night - Bruce was way excited!

James's New Quilt

They're here!

Grandma Damstedt is here and brought James his new quilt.

He LOVES it!

We had such a delicious Thanksgiving!

Brad did awesome on our brined-rubbed- grilled turkey.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Right now we're anxiously waiting for 2 loving grandparents and an uncle to arrive- they've been bumped- it may be a while... I thought I'd post pictures.

Lost 1st tooth, swallowed a penny, Happy 1 month...

Last night was an eventful one...

Jane lost her 1st tooth!

My mom made this sweet pillow and tooth fairy bag, but Jane said, "I don't care about the money, I want to keep this tooth." So she did.

Bruce swallowed his 1st (and hopefully last) penny .

We were a little nervous, but now we wait...

Thank you D&T for these flowers for James- he's 1 month!

This sleepy guy went to sleep last night around 11 and the next time he woke was 3:30-woo hoo, longest sleep yet!

My mom made this adorable "Mommies helper" apron that Kate loves to wear and use with her babies- loves the powder.

My Visiting Teachers gave me these and they make me smile!

What we've been doing....

First off, we bought a new computer a week ago and I heave been learning how to do things.I just uploaded my 100+ pictures on today so now I can post again- sorry grandmas for the delay.

James

growing, eating, sleeping, being loved by all. He is so beautiful and we love him so much

This week he came with me to dessert& card swap, Enrichment craft night,

So silly- this little girl always talks in complete sentences and always makes us laugh
-got a little haircut

Bruce:

-was the leader at Pre K & brought snack
- helped rake a huge pile of leaves on Sat.

Jane:
- Yesterday B told her that if she read

he'd take her to see the movie. She stayed up late and read the whole thing
- She loves to hold James
- She delivered Girl Scout cookies.
B and I

- Lots of other blogs inspired me to daily write things I'm thankful for so on our hall door we've been writing things on pieces of paper and taping them up- I'll post a picture later.
- I've had lots of fun with family and friends this week
- B has been working on presents for our "Homemade Christmas."
(he also cut blocks for our Enrichment thing and Bruce and him build this:)
