Last Saturday night we went to a German/American Festival and wow- lots of beer. Apparently our city is sister-cities with Dortmund.
It was in a park in a city nearby and there was a big pavilion with lots of old drunk people at 5:30 p.m. There was also a little "bounce house" next to it where our kids and the few other kids that were there played.
We got dinner of Brats, potato salad, and kraut that was O.K., nothing like Siegfrieds. We did get to speak German to a few people and it was fun to listen to loud German music again.

Ah man, Stillwater is just sister city's with some stupid Japanese city, Kameoka. Just kidding Stu!! That is really cool that you have a German city!!
I know about the Japanese sister city thing as Ketchikan's is Kanayama. I feel your pain.
