5K and Strep

Saturday morning was so beautiful! The weather was perfect and the race ran right along side of Niagara Falls. I ran with my wonderful amazing friend and we ran the whole time! 3 other amazing women in the ward ran it too. Here with some of our biggest fans!
(Thank you Amy for the picture)
I know-I look so beautiful after running 5K- NOT!
After the race we went to the beach and flew kites. Then we went to the Toyota dealership to talk about B's new truck, then we had a relaxing date at home.

This morning I woke up and my throat was totally swollen. It hurt a TON to swallow and I couldn't talk. It hurt just to touch my neck. I made a doctor's appointment and turns out that I have STREP! I haven't had strep since I was like 10. It hurts!
So I got my medicine, took a nap, and feel a lot better already.
THANK YOU MY LOVE FOR STAYING HOME FROM WORK TO TAKE SUCH GREAT CARE OF ALL OF US!
(I especially think he liked taking Bruce to library story time.)

You are truly amazing! Sorry you are so sicky though! Did you get a Z-pack? I know mom swears by them and I must agree. You totally look cute after running 5 K. Way to go!

Way to go! I've been wanting to run a race for a while now. My knees have been so sore since having Bailey, so I don't know what to do now. And running the whole time? Impressive.
